Lumigan 0.01 is primarily used to treat glaucoma, a condition that causes high pressure inside the eye that can damage the optic nerve and lead to vision loss. Lumigan is available in the form of eye drops and is typically prescribed to be used once daily in the affected eye(s) for glaucoma. For promoting eyelash growth (off-label), Lumigan can be applied to the upper eyelashes with an applicator (purchased separately) once daily. It may take 3 or 4 months to see the full benefits of Lumigan for eyelash growth.
